Our Blog Rules
Being safe online is very important!
The internet is exciting and offers many opportunities for learning. The aim for Grade 5/6 students is to learn about appropriate online behaviour while using it in a real world way, under supervision.
There are a few rules to follow...
1. FIRST NAMES ONLY! Do not use your surname when leaving a comment.
2. SOMETIMES ON OUR BLOG - Students and parents first names, photos, work, video and school name.
3. NEVER ON OUR BLOGS - Surname, address, email address, phone number, specific plans, dates of birth and personal information.
4. ALL COMMENTS ARE APPROVED - All comments will be approved by 5/6 Teachers before they are included on the blog. This helps keep the blog positive and appropriate.
5. ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE PARENTAL PERMISSION:
To comment or post on the class blog or other blogs
To have their photo, video and work appear on the blog
6. WORLD WIDE WEB - All comments must be positive, polite, respectful and courteous- remember the whole world can read it!
